Mixed by Britt Myers of Yeasayer, ‘Mirrors’ is the new single from Talking Pictures, released May 30th through Split Records. The release also features remixes from Voluntary Butler Scheme, Joe and Will Ask and Is Tropical, which you can grab above.

Directed by Edouard Salier, Justice's new video for 'Civilization' is a monumental struggle for the lives of the Buffalo who live in quite a topsy-turvy world. The video will feature on the upcoming Civilization EP which also includes remixes from Mr. Oizo and The Fucking Champs, out June 6.

OH MINNOWS - ANOTHER VOLUNTEER (ENTREPRENEURS GUILTY PLEASURES REMIX)

Formerly a member of The Semifinalists, Chris Steele-Nicholson has taken on a new project in the form of Oh Minnows. Currently signed to Young & Lost Club, 'Another Volunteer' is the first single to be taken from the forthcoming debut LP, For Shadows, due for a release on July 25th. TY SEGALL

I hate cats, but I like kittens, I love dogs, but I also love puppies. So when Drag City released the cover art for Ty Segall's forthcoming album, Goodbye Bread earlier this week, I guess you could say, I loved it a lot more than if it were a stupid cat. Definitely my favourite album cover this year. Anyways, enough about that. Goodbye Bread is set for release on June 21 and is said to be a lot more mellow and pop orientated compared to previous work. 'You Make The Sun Fry' is the first taster from the album.

MOONLIGHT MATTERS

I'll be making my way to Belgium at some point this year, purely to experience the Balearic inspired disco that seems to be pouring out of the country. One of the main contributors to that sound includes Moonlight Matters, or Sebastiaan Vandevoorde to his mother. Formerly one third of Villa, the Belgian is currently involved in a project with fellow countrymen, Shindu and is also working on his debut EP. His latest remix of Is Tropical's 'The Greeks' is doing the rounds at the moment and is just another fine feather in his remix-cap!

WHEN SAINTS GO MACHINE

I first heard When Saints Go Machine's track 'Fail Forever' back in 2009 and ever since then I've been waiting for an album to drop. Each member of the Danish quartet possess different styles, citing anything from The Slits to Techno or even Jazz as influences. Perhaps that's why it has taken so long to get an LP together. Thankfully though their debut album, Konkylie is set for release next month on June 6th. 'Kelly' is the latest slice to be taken from the debut.

GUARDS

Following on from his debut EP which was released mid last year, Guards is all set to drop his new EP, Resolution of One tomorrow via Kitsuné. STRANGE TALK

Strange Talk played to a sold out crowd on Friday night to launch their debut EP here in Melbourne. My friend who was mixing the band told me it was an insanely rad show. I myself didn't attend because I'm a deadshit, instead I sat home and watched episodes of QI. Anyways, they have a new video for 'Eskimo Boy' and it's filled with bohemian babes.

BLACK LIPS

Black Lips' sixth full-length studio album, Arabia Mountain is due for release in June. Lockett Pundt of Deerhunter fame worked on two of the tracks for the album, but the majority was produced by the multi-talented Mark Ronson, who worked on the LP late last year. His contribution might just throw the Atlanta band into a new world where the album might seem a lot more accessible to people who might not have been fans before.
The first single to land is 'Modern Art', a short and jangly track that's catchy as fuck.

Dev Hynes wears many hats, his Blood Orange moniker is one that hasn't really seen that much attention, he seems to focus more on his Lightspeed Champion duties. However, Blood Orange is becoming more of a permanent fixture in the life of the ex-Test Icicles man. His first official release, 'Dinner' dropped last week via Chris Taylor's (Grizzly Bear) label, Terrible Records and it's certainly made an impression. Channeling Prince, 'Dinner' is quite simply, pure sex.
